The Committal

The Committal and Farewell is when the Officiant / Celebrant will say a final goodbye to your physical self and the Curtains might close in front of your coffin. It’s often a particularly emotional moment for those attending.

You don’t have to include anything extra at this point, but if there is anything you would like to happen, such as a particular piece of music to be played, some flowers placed on the coffin by your family members, or some final words spoken, make sure they are recorded in your Book of Wishes.
