Readings / Tributes

You can ask to have extracts from literature, poems and other types of readings delivered during the service. These could be prose, poems, religious extracts or if you have ideas of your own, you should record your wants in your Book of Wishes.

Family or friends might like to say something about their relationship with you and what they perceive that you leave behind. They may like to deliver a poem, some prose or anything else.

Personal Tributes

Those present at your funeral could pay tribute to you in some other way; playing music, special poems, speaking of your times together or placing symbolic items on or near your coffin, (for example photographs, items which signify your hobbies or interests, or flowers). Give some thought as to what could be included as part of the service.
