Masonic

All Masons are accepting of all religions and have a belief in a Supreme Being, thus a funeral service for a Freemason will be based on a Religious service, but there can be a number of variations which can include:

Masonic Eulogy

A separate Masonic Eulogy will be created outlining your Masonic career from your Initiation to the date you last attended a meeting. If you grant your permission, then a Masonic Eulogy writer will contact the relevant Provincial ‘Secretaries’ from the different orders to which you belong in order that your Eulogy be as complete as possible. Once complete, this Masonic Eulogy can be provided to the units to which you belong so that the Almoner can deliver a meaningful and accurate piece ‘in Memoriam’.

Closing Ode

It’s a lovely touch to have the Closing Ode played or sung whilst the curtains close in front of your coffin.

Last farewell

A trained Celebrant will create suitable wording from each of the orders to which you belong and will deliver the “Returning Apron” ceremony before the congregation which is a lovely link between the service being delivered and practiced Masonic ritual.

If you would like to speak with a Masonic Celebrant to make sure your Eulogy and Service is properly created and delivered, then please contact us here.
